As part of our creative process, we periodically gather for what we have come to call a playdate. The players arrive with ideas for scenes and characters, and just have fun.

While keeping our creative juices flowing, a playdate can also provide an opportunity to create new characters; try out a new story concept; and build character relationships for an upcoming project.

The first two playdate examples were shot by the players on an iphone, with post production also done on a mobile phone by longtime barewitness friend and supporter Jessica Ehrreich. Thanks for the fabulous editing, Jess!

Gathering on the night of the Academy Awards, we had some fun with an oscar-themed scenario. Directed and edited by Stan Stone,  It’s How you Play the Game was shot and edited on an iPad, using iMovie.
