Marie has
loved theatre for a very long time. She acquired a
B.A. from San Francisco State in Drama in 1995. She
then graduated from the Bennett TheatreLab,
completing a three year training program with
advanced
training
in Shakespearean text and workshop with The Royal Shakespeare.
She has been acting in the Bay Area, on and off, ever
since. Her resume includes: "Rita" in Prelude
to a Kiss at Actors Ensemble in Berkeley, "Jill" in
Are These Your Panties at Theatre Rhinoceros,
and "Iris" in
Lisa Macelroy's filmproject Fog.
It was Orange
Coast College and a man named Alex Golson that provided
her first acting class at a time she was
sure of majoring in Dance. The class was in improvisation.
It was the freedom to "show your fool" that
sold her. When Daniel and Michael invited her to be a
part of this ensemble, it took her half of a second to
respond....YES!!!
